Purchased in 1980 from Graig Hinton's Leaping Cats in Warwickshire, England, this must be one of the very few Jaguar Mk2's (in this condition especially) that can claim the title of a 52 year old still running on it's original factory clutch. The engine has never been out/apart or underbody welded. All numbers match.
I'm going to say this car is "unmolested", because apart from a re-trim in red Connolly leather (done at Suffolk & Turley's workshops in the UK), and a little bit of paintwork, very little has been restored.
The car boarded Cunard's flagship ocean liner QE2 in Southampton UK along with our E-Type back in 1987, and made it's way to the USA. We shipped it as part of their relocation package, when we moved from the UK to Florida that year.

Before leaving the UK, it was running on a private registration plate "149 PWC"
Everything works except for the clock (of course!). Always starts first press of the button & keeps excellent oil pressure.
The car has all United States EPA/DOT stamped paperwork, along with the UK registration/V5 documents, a load of old receipts for everything going back 40 years, original bill of sale and all paperwork/books that came with the car from Henly's London dealership in 1968.
